ABOUT US
DEDICATED EDUCATORS
Our staff include a certified Montessori education director and certified Montessori teachers, some of who also have other degrees in early childhood education.
Our teacher's assistants are also dedicated individuals who believe in the Montessori philosophy, and love working with children.
FIRST GRADE CURRICULUM
We follow a Montessori curriculum which has 5 areas, namely, Math, Language, Practical life, Sensorial and Culture which comprises of Sciences, Arts and History.
Our two Montessori classes are the Infant/Toddler (0-3yrs) and the Children's House (3-6yrs).
Our "Montessori inspired" Lower & Upper Elementary classes are for 6 - 9 years olds & 9-12 years olds, respectively.
Admission to all classes is ongoing now.
EXCELLENT HEALTH CARE
We are partnered with an excellent hospital with experienced paediatricians, which is in very close proximity (a short walk) to our school. Our children are immediately attended to by their excellent pediatricians in the unfortunate event of an accident, illness or emergency. Our staff are also well trained in first aid administration in the event of minor accidents.

Director
AKUNNA ONYEDIRE
Ms Onyedire is the Founder and Director at White Light Montessori School. She certified in the Theory and Practice of the Early Childhood Montessori method of education. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Business Management. She is currently undertaking a Master's degree in leadership in education.
She has served children in Nigeria and attended various enriching professional development courses and conferences to date. She spearheads the mission at WLMS to enable EVERY child attain their maximum potential.
She leads a distinguished staff body, oversees the development of student programmes and services, and promotes professional staff development. She is the curriculum developer and programme manager at WLMS.
