EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The fun never stops at WLMS. After an exciting day of learning, we provide our students with the opportunity to explore new interests and interact with their classmates outside of our typical learning program. Each year, we work with a variety of highly vetted third parties to offer our Montessori students fun and engaging activities for their age level!
Although our extracurricular activity offerings can vary from year to year, the following information is a sample of the amazing programs we currently offer our students.
TEAKWANDO
Our Teakwando program incorporates all of the protocols and disciplines of a typical martial arts studio, but in a unique, fun manner for our Montessori preschool and Elementary children. By participating in this extracurricular activity, the children will learn about respect, self-control, hand/eye coordination, concentration, and goal setting. The physical benefits are profound, as children will practice kicking, punching, blocking, stretching, and jumping during each interactive class.
AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB
Harnessing Creativity
This innovative after-school clubs and child care program caters to children from 3 to 11 years old. Our club allows pre-school and school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. We offer activities that combine fun and learning. some of the activities we offer are:

Our club stands out from any other because the Montessori philosophy is applied to everything. From art, dramatic play, math and science to problem-solving, language, motor skills and more, your child will continue learning and developing essential life skills after the school day in a Montessori environment.
HOLIDAY CAMPS
KIDS CAMP
Are you looking for a fun way to extend the regular school year? Our holiday Program embraces Montessori principles while providing an enriching experience that is unique, educational, and fun. Children work within the carefully prepared environment of a Montessori classroom while exploring themes and activities that are exclusive to the holiday program.
Our kids camp is open during major school holidays like Easter, summer and Christmas. Our activities with the kids will include Montessori lessons on grace and courtesy, practical life skill lessons, cookery, dance, sewing, art and creation, field trips to; the movies, Didi museum, Lekki conservation centre, upbeat trampoline park, Lekki art market, nike art gallery, etc.
This program is for children 0-12yrs old with some activities applying only to certain age groups only. Just as during the school year, the program celebrates the benefits of mixed age classes. The toddlers will work together and Children aged 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12, will work together. This allows teachers to create developmentally appropriate activities in response to the different developmental needs of children. Younger children will be able to learn from older children, and older children will enjoy the chance to be leaders.
